Seminar on rural livelihoods and social protection in Malawi
On Thursday 27 February, Professor James Copestake and the Centre for the Study of Global Development (CSGD) will host a seminar on rural livelihoods and social protection in Malawi.
Learn from pilots that have successfully improved livelihoods in rural communities and explore how these initiatives can inform policy decisions. Engage in discussions on social protection programs that have made a positive impact on vulnerable populations in Malawi.

Just FYI. I'm online now after life changing crimes. I've spent my entire life working full time while living in unending poverty. I've worked restaurants stores for years with people with physical and developmental disabilities. (People are heavy!)
I have an idea I'm calling
The Martin Luther King Jr Guaranteed Minimum Income and Poverty Elimination Act of January 2029.
I'd like serious disabilities of how this could work and I'd like to see a bill written that could be endorsed by one or both of our Monopoly Parties and be passed in 2029 after the 2028 election.
Won't go into more detail now but hopefully people will take this idea and run with it.
